Mumbai: Senior citizens loses over Rs 11 lakh to cyber fraudsters
A senior citizen was allegedly duped of over Rs 11 lakh by cyber fraudsters when she tried to recover the money she had lost while ordering pizza and dry fruits online, police said on Saturday. The fraud came to light when the woman approached the BKC Cyber police station with a complaint recently, an official said. (PTI)
Assets worth Rs 410 crore of Mumbai realty group, actor-producer attached by ED
Flats and land worth a total of about Rs 410 crore of Mumbai-based realty group Omkar Realtors and that of a company belonging to actor-producer Sachin Joshi have been attached by the Enforcement Directorate under the anti-money laundering law. Joshi, who has acted in some Telugu and Hindi movies, is the son of JMJ group promoter and businessman J M Joshi who is into gutka and pan masala manufacturing and also into hospitality business. The crime branch unit 6 arrested Gulzar Makbool Ahmed Khan, 50, who runs a grocery store in Srinagar and doubles up as drug dealer.
